E3 is now underway and the gamer news keeps on coming.
Nintendo's E3 2019 presentation was dominated by giants of the Japanese video game world - not just Nintendo's own Pokémon, Smash Bros, Animal Crossing and Zelda series, but Square Enix's Dragon Quest and Mana roleplaying series and a range of anime-styled and mech-themed games.
Nintendo delivered on a new game trailer for the upcolming remake of the classic GameBoy Legend of Zelda game, including a new game mode we'll be able to use. "And after a lot of discussion, we chose to come to a new direction".
Nintendo has not yet confirmed that we'll be seeing Animal Crossing Switch at this year's E3 2019. Ultimate, two new paid downloadable fighters will be available: Hero from DRAGON QUEST this summer and Banjo-Kazooie this fall. Well, Aonuma says that while Breath of the Wild broke the traditional Zelda formula, he wanted people to come back to its roots with Link's Awakening.
On the other side of things, the Dreamer Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will include the base game itself as well as an artbook called the "Dreamer Art Book".
-One significant bummer: The new Animal Crossing game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, won't be out until March 20, 2020, which is later than expected.
