Star Wars Celebration takes place in Chicago this weekend, and to kick things off, we're getting a Star Wars: Episode IX panel at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET, live streamed across the internet for all to see. At 1768 pieces, it actually has a slightly higher piece count than the first version of the ship released - 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner.
Interestingly the set is not labeled as an Ultimate Collectors Series (UCS) set nor as a Master Builder Series (MBS) playset, though the packaging is similar to both.
The Tantive IV will be exclusive to Lego stores and the Lego website, and will cost £180.
At 1,700-plus pieces and two feet long, putting your other hand underneath might still be a good idea... The radar dish also doubles as a handle so the set can be carried and moved easily. The sets were introduced at the American International Toy Fair in New York City that year and remain one of the most popular lines of Lego toys today. Lego made a decision to add one more for good measure, throwing in Leia's adoptive father Bail Organa as a bonus.
The creative forces behind the hit shows The Freemaker Adventures and LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars, Bill Motz and Bob Roth, will headline a LEGO Star Wars animation free-for-all featuring special guests Leland Chee (Lucasfilm) and Jason Cosler (LEGO Group)!

Need more Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge info? That's a shame, but it's still a very nice set without it. Remove the hull plating of this fantastic LEGO Star Wars vehicle to reveal a detailed 2-minifigure cockpit, conference area with table, weapon rack and a control console with 2 seats.
"LEGO Star Wars starship measures over 5" (14cm) high, 24" (62cm) long and 7" (19cm) wide. It also comes with five minifigures in the form of an updated Captain Antilles, a rebel soldier, C-3PO, Princess Leia (with her updated skirt) and the never-before-released Bail Organa.
LEGO Star Wars 75244 Tantive IV will be available exclusively at shop.LEGO.com from May 3.
