One concern among gamers, pre- and post-demo, has been the length of the story mode and the quantity of endgame content. New and better gear can be earned by playing a range of content in the game. Today, the first hint of just what sort of endgame loot, missions, and game-changing events we'll experience arrived in the form of a new video.
Once players have finished Anthem's "core story mission", the focus will change to endgame content. As you play, you will constantly progress both your own abilities as a Javelin pilot and the combat and traversal capabilities of your exosuits. Similar to the Borderlands series, the progressive level ups will make the in-game world more hard, but also increase the power and rarity of the reward drops you can find in the game. At this point, players will be able to take part in daily, weekly, and monthly challenges, and unlock "Anthem's" Grand master, Grand Master 2, and Grand Master 3 difficulty tiers. Or do you think Anthem will lack the content necessary to keep you interested? The higher the difficulty level, the better your chance at finding highest rarity gear and personalization items.
When you can't find it, build it. Different objectives net you crafting blueprints and materials to create the powerful equipment described in blueprints.
Finding gear will be key, but players will also need to craft to stay ahead of the pack in the more hard missions. Factions that are dishing out contracts and challenges will continuously appear in Fort Tarsis allowing for interesting side quests to complete giving new blueprints, crafting materials, and coins for cosmetics. Improving your reputation with different groups will give you access to crafting blueprints. Do enough contracts, and a Legendary Contract will open up; which are multi-part missions that take a lot more time to complete, but with greater rewards.
