The historic Western town area located at Paramount Ranch within Agoura Hills, California, host to productions like HBO's Westworld, burned down Friday in the Woolsey fire, the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation service reports (via Variety). Now, the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area twitter account has announced that the town and its structures have burned down in the Woolsey Fire.
HBO told The Wrap that no cast or crew was at the Paramount Ranch location when it burned down.
Westworld seasons one and two are currently available to stream on NOW TV.
UPDATE: HBO has issued a statement: "Paramount Ranch was one of the locations used during seasons one and two of Westworld, in addition to the primary location at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita". 'So sad for the history lost.
'Westworld is not now in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there'.
Gaga also took to social media letting her followers know she evacuated Friday morning as she shared a few videos focused on the smoke-filled skies.
Many stars have been forced to evacuate as a result of the wildfire, including the Kardashian family, Alyssa Milano, Melissa Etheridge, Rainn Wilson and Guillermo del Toro. HBO said it did not know the extent of the damage and expressed concern for "all those affected by these terrible fires".
The blaze started Thursday night and by Friday had pushed toward Malibu and the Pacific Ocean, prompting evacuations in Malibu, Calabasas, Agoura Hills and other nearby areas.
