Several pharmacy employees around the metro said their clients reported it was hard to get into a doctor's office to get the vaccine or that some already said their physician ran out of doses. The virus changes rapidly, requiring more updates to the seasonal vaccine, and making it that much harder for the body's immune system to generate a good response.
Other ways to prevent the flu is avoid touching the face, clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched, and get plenty of sleep.
