An image of the official charger dubbed Pixel Stand shows that it will hold the phone at an angle to accommodate the Smart Display function. As a reminder, Google launched the Pixel 2 XL smartphone in November previous year at a price tag of Rs 73,000. Google has not officially announced price cuts for any Pixel 2 variant in India, but it can be expected anytime around the October 9 Pixel 3 launch event.
Google Pixel 2 XL price in India has been reduced to Rs. 45,499 for the variant with 64GB inbuilt storage.
While the rear houses just a single camera sensor, the notch is home to two sensors. But MySmartPrice has managed to snag what it thinks is a press render of the stand.
The accessory was shown featuring a cradle at the top that allows the forthcoming phone to stand upright and wirelessly charge. Naturally, the Pixel 2's price will drop to a lower range than the Pixel 2 XL, even then purchasing the latter is a sound choice.
The outlet insisted the charging pad would be an official product from Google and will feature a USB-C connector at the bottom to allow it to transmit power. It is believed that the Google Pixel 3 will come with a 2,915mAh battery. From animations in Google's apps to a new Assistant UI built for it, we figured we had most of the details about the charging stand -at least, excluding what it actually looked like.
Speculation surrounding Google's third generation of flagship handsets supporting the long-absent feature of wireless charging appeared as early as July, when a leaked image of an Engineering Validation Test model displayed an all-glass rear panel, ideal for wireless technology.
