The iPhone XS Max, which will be available on September 21 - with orders open the week before - represents Apple's attempt to feed consumers' appetite for increasingly larger screens as they rely on smartphones to watch and record video and to take photos wherever they are. At $750 in the United States (around R11,000 - but the official South African price has not yet been released), the XR isn't exactly cheap. Xs Max is offered at £1,099, £1,249 and £1,449 price that is PKR 175,000, 200,000 and 230,000 respectively.
It is expected this model will retain the same 5.8-inch screen size but come packing supercharged internals, a better camera system and be made available in a new gold colour.

The iPhone X, a dramatically redesigned model released last fall, got rid of the home button and introduced facial-recognition technology to unlock the device. I think lots of Apple customers with ageing phones are going to jump at the chance to have a device that looks like an even more fun and colourful version of the iPhone X. And while they may not be as radical a change as the iPhone X was a year ago (or bring back highly requested features like normal headphone jacks) these new iPhones do present their own unique improvements. There are also a few new features, such as a watch faces to help you take a deep breath, or the ability to manage your calorie intake. Additionally, it will feature all the same upgrades to the camera software that the XS range will receive. With a 6.5-inch screen, it's one of the biggest smartphone models on the market in any brand.
Xs will cost the same as the X, from £999. The phone captures "even more sophisticated bokeh" for professional-level results, Apple says.
Moving to the camera, both the iPhones will have two 12-MP cameras one of which will be a telephoto lens and the other will be a wide-angle lens.
He said: "Since the days of Steve Jobs, they have led the way in creating excitement and buzz, transcending the corporate space to become not just a company update for employees, but a consumer event designed to drive sales". There will also be three versions available for the smartphone: a 64GB model, a 128GB model, and a 256GB model.
Thanks to the larger display, there's a new watch face that features up to eight complications that can be customized.
So, that appears to be a nail in the coffin for the rumoured "iPhone XS Plus" and "iPhone XC" names, then, which were widely rumoured to be the monikers of the gadgets. The three new iPhones have an average starting price of $949.
