Meghan Markle again broke all the rules of the Royal family

The Duchess of Sussex's mother Doria Ragland spent an extended summer holiday with her daughter and Prince Harry in England over the summer, it has been reported.

The Duchess of Sussex wore a blue sleeveless Jason Wu dress, Aquazzura heels, and a small navy Dior clutch.

It's easy to see why she was picked, thanks to her sleek and modern outfits and how she pairs them with a pump.

Controversially, it breaks one of the Queen's style rules - showing the shoulders.

"Whether she is wearing a classic button down shirt and ripped jeans, like any other girl, or a couture wedding gown and a tiara, unlike most of us, she always looks effortlessly chic". No, she never went full-on androgynous, but she definitely included subtle nods to menswear in some of her ensembles.

The duchess made a decision to go for an added touch of glam at the event, wearing her hair down in curls, unlike earlier appearances this week where she wore her signature "messy bun".

But this time around she went all out with Veronica Lake-like waves that herald back to the golden age of Hollywood and the 1920s.

It also marked the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Presented by the Royal Armouries, the one-off concert was an evening of music and reflection in aid of three charities all working to support military veterans facing mental health challenges.

A source previously said: "Meghan is absolutely broken by the drama with her father".

Inside the event, Harry and Meghan were spotted meeting conductor Sir Karl Jenkins and singer Lesley Garrett.

"I got a couple on my forehead, [because Meghan] has a couple on her forehead", said one woman who got the process done.
