Boyfriend of late Love Island star Sophie Gradon reportedly found dead

Tributes have begun pouring in for Aaron Armstrong who was found dead in Blyth, Northumberland, on Tuesday.

He said: "At around 12.20pm today we received a report that a 25-year-old man had been found deceased at a property in Blyth".

According to police, there was no third-party involvement in the death, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.

The creators of Love Island, which is one of the most popular reality shows in the United Kingdom, paid tribute to Gradon via Twitter on June 21: "The whole ITV2 and Love Island team are profoundly saddened to hear the news about Sophie, and our deepest sympathies and thoughts go to her family and friends".

On Friday, he posted a tribute to his girlfriend following her funeral.

He wrote: "I will never forget that smile I love you so so much baby you're my world forever ever and always".

Ms Gradon, who was named Miss Great Britain in 2009 and had been crowned Miss Newcastle the previous year, died on June 20.

Since Sophie's tragic death, most of Aaron's content on his Instagram involved pictures and videos of the two together. Her body reportedly was discovered in her parents' home by her boyfriend. I'm heartbroken for you soph to have felt this pain.

A representative for Love Island said: "The whole ITV2 and Love Island team are profoundly saddened to hear the news about Sophie, and our deepest sympathies and thoughts go to her family and friends".

"You really don't know the battles they go through every single day. I love you princess".

"The loving boyfriend also shared a picture of his late other half and wrote, "[Today] is the day I say my [goodbye] to my queen this is the hardest day of my life".
