Ronda Rousey's WWE career is off to a tremendous start. TMZ caught up with her in NYC, and planted the question of parenthood on her without trepidation. However, from the sounds of it she's already planning out her maternity leave. Rousey has been a driving force in the Women's Division ever since she first appeared at the Women's Royal Rumble earlier this year, but she hasn't yet been able to wrestle in a sanctioned match on WWE's flagship show.
WWE announced Monday at the NBCUniversal Upfront that Rousey will face WWE Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on June 17th in Chicago.
Ronda Rousey is seemingly looking to expand her family sooner rather than later, with the athlete telling TMZ that she'll be pregnant "someday soon". It may not come as a surprise then that in what will likely be her second career match, Rousey will have a chance to become the Raw Women's Champion - but the decision to grant Rousey a title shot so soon will surely be polarizing among WWE fans. "Someday soon. But I don't know yet". However, that doesn't mean she would take a break from the wrestling altogether. In the event they go that route, it might benefit both parties for her to reinforce her relationship with WWE fans before she makes the transition.
Will the WWE handle things differently with Rousey?
