Microsoft has released another new preview build for Windows 10 working on further refinements for the big update due later this year - Redstone 5 - as opposed to the imminent Spring Creators Update, which there's still no sign of (more on that later).
Tonight's build brings a number of improvements, including some for Microsoft Edge. Along with those new features, Microsoft has made some changes and improvements, and also marked some known issues in case you get into trouble with this not-ready-for-prime-time build. The integration lets Office 365 users to refresh, recall data for all projects.
The Sets tabbed experience works with Office 365 desktop apps like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. You'll need to be running the very latest version of the Office desktop apps, and be an Office 365 subscriber, to be able to use Sets with these applications.
When you're opening an Office document with the same app that already has an existing document open, this may lead to an unintended switch between the two.
The company has also made improvements for Sets by enabling desktop (Win32) apps that use the default title bar.
Furthermore, an issue has been fixed with Edge tabs, so you can now drag these around within a Set, or drop them into another Sets window, without running the risk of a crash (although you can't yet drag between a Sets window and a standalone Microsoft Edge window).
Also on the Microsoft Edge front, a further enhancement here is that Microsoft WebDriver has been implemented as a "Feature on Demand". In their blog post, Dona Sarkar and Brandon LeBlanc note: "Some Insiders may see Sets disappear temporarily after installing this build. Sets should return in 1-2 days or upon the next reboot of your PC". To install the WebDriver you need to turn on the Developer Mode or you can go to Settings Apps Apps & features Manage optional features. This includes the links to get themes and fonts from the Microsoft Store, as well as the link to Windows Defender. We are now shipping 64-bit Microsoft WebDriver to x64 machines.
It's also worth noting that there are several known issues with this preview release. To work around the issue, restore and re-maximize the window. The roaming info appears when you start using roaming data. As a reminder, if you'd like to enable or disable roaming altogether, you can find the option under Cellular Settings. This new option under Settings Ease of Access Magnifier "Keep your mouse..." This new option now helps you to track and use mouse even at higher magnification levels.
