Residential collection services will be delayed by one day. Extended hours are in effect Thursday and Saturday at most locations.

While Good Friday is the actual statutory holiday, municipal, provincial and federal government offices and schools will also be closed Easter Monday. Residents can still renew their licence plates and perform selected transactions with ServiceOntario on their official website.

There will be no Canada Post delivery on Friday or Monday.

All liquor stores are closed in Manitoba on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but will be open Monday. The Tunnel Bus will operate on its regular schedules throughout the weekend. There will only be shuttle bus service from Finch West to Wilson stations from Friday until Sunday for signal upgrade work.

All London Public Library branches will be closed Friday, Sunday and Monday. All stores open with regular hours on Saturday and Monday.

By law nearly all shops will be closed on Good Friday apart from limited exemptions including stores in Queenstown, service stations and dairys.

The Winnipeg Art Gallery is closed both Good Friday and Easter Monday. The city's parking payment offices will be closed both days, but payments will still be taken online.

On Easter Sunday, there will be the annual Toronto Beaches Lions Club Easter Parade, which will mean road closures. For specific hours, see liquormarts.ca/hours. Please call for class times and fitness centre hours.

The Winnipeg Park Authority will be closed on Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2.

The Francois Baby House will be closed Friday through Monday.

Most shopping malls will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

The TTC will be running on holiday service on Good Friday and normal Sunday service on Easter Sunday.

Monday, April 2, 2018: Adult Fit Lanes - 6 a.m.to 9 p.m.; Open Adult Swim - 6 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.to 5 p.m.

The Manitoba Children's Museum, Assiniboine Park Zoo and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights are all open on Good Friday. The spring skating schedule begins Tuesday.

In Tecumseh, Tecumseh Arena will be closed Friday through Monday with the exception of previously-scheduled rentals. Tecumseh Transit will not run on Good Friday.
