From April 6th until the 20th, Monster Hunter World players will be able to celebrate the Spring Blossom Event while earning new gear!
During the Spring Blossom Fest event, the gathering hub in Astera will be decorated for the event.
When selecting loadouts during Arena Quests, a bug occurred where the item window order would change.
Nearly all event quests previously released and then phased out will become available again during this festival. Capcom has also embraced the idea of crossover events with other franchises by offering unique quests and rewards related to Street Fighter 5, Devil May Cry and Horizon Zero Dawn.
New armors sets will be available to craft, new exclusive materials to gather. In addition, almost every special event quest will be active again, letting players that missed out on gear from Street Fighter 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, and others get another chance at them.
There are new gestures and chat icons that will be implemented, but that content will be part of a paid DLC.
Various facilities in Astera will get a boost, including sales that will make shopping more convenient. Bonuses for logging in will be increased as well. A limited set meal will be purchasable at the Canteen.
A new nine-star event quest will prompt hunters of hunter rank 50 or over to hunt Deviljho in the Ancient Forest. After teasing a Mega Man crossover event past year, Capcom is finally shedding light on what players can expect from the quest.
There is also a second seven-star event quest that needs hunter rank 13 or above.
