A new update for the games has gone live that adds numerous new features to the product. Bethesda didn't say anything about the motion controls; it just let the new features sneak up on gamers. Players can use the Joy-Con gyro controls only, or in conjunction with traditional aiming. Players can now easily get together in-game and unleash hell upon your enemies.
The new rebooted Doom game on the Nintendo Switch (and other platforms) is good for a few frights as you play, but the sneakiest thing in the game has landed with the latest patch. The third update to grace the game is a shiny new game icon that mimics the look of the classic game and matches the game's box art.
Earlier this month, the official Doom Twitter account promised patches that would include "covering audio issues, menu fixes, and more". It also fixed an issue where controls became unresponsive on the game menu and an issue where players may have incorrectly received a ban notice in multiplayer.
