Eason's development into a premier quarterback was stalled this season, though, when he was beaten out for the Bulldogs' starting spot under center after an injury by freshman Jake Fromm, another highly touted recruit.

The Huskies also have two other young quarterbacks, Jake Haener and Daniel Bridge-Gadd, now on the roster, and they have four-star QB Dylan Morris out of Graham-Kapowsin High committed in their 2019 recruiting class.
The maturation of players like Jake Fromm and Riley Ridley and a No. 1 recruiting class point to good times ahead for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.
He added: "You could be mad about it, you could sulk about it all season, but I took what happened and did what I could with it". Eason would keep Huskies among the top teams in the country.
Eason played in six games this season, going 4-of-7 for 28 yards.
