Amazon ( AMZN ) on Tuesday announced its plans for Black Friday that will feature more than 30 Deals of the Day and thousands of Lightning Deals across 30 categories.
It's beginning some online deals Thursday and plans to offer most of its Black Friday deals online starting at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thanksgiving. Among those planning to shop during November, the most popular timeframes include: remaining days in November after Cyber Monday (57 percent); Cyber Monday (51 percent); early to mid-November, before Thanksgiving week (44 percent) and Black Friday (38 percent). It learned that while shoppers like the opportunity to shop on both Thanksgiving and Black Friday at its stores, the crowds thinned out in the wee hours of the morning.
If you would rather stay home than go out on Black Friday and risk getting trampled to death just so you can get a lawnmower at a discount, eBay's got you covered. The best part is that price-matching starts right away, so you won't have to wait for Black Friday to save. The Amazon mobile App will also be regularly updated on whats on offer and you'll be able to get the latest deals straight from your mobile. Its stores will then reopen at 6 a.m. local time on Friday until 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight.
Amazon will have new "Deals of the Day" every day throughout the period, ranging from Amazon devices, electronics and pet supplies to kitchen and home & garden items.
