The company has announced that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be joining both services soon, along with Dead Space 3 for EA Access on Xbox One. If you're unsure about buying anyone of these games but have an Access account, be sure hit up those trials in the coming weeks.
Despite what EA might do wrong with their many of their business decisions (Star Wars Battlefront II is just the latest example of loot boxes encroaching still on gameplay), EA and Origin Access has been a pretty solid service for the most part. The action horror title has been available on Origin Access since past year. Though it didn't exactly receive rave reviews, this will be a great way to experience the game without spending a lot of money because it does still offer a ton of content to play through.
Subscribers will also be getting "Play first" trials for Need for Speed Payback and Star Wars Battlefront II, giving them a chance to give these games a go before dropping full price on them.
If you are a fan of EA and want to get special deals on both past and upcoming titles, then be sure to try out EA Access (Xbox One) and Origin Access (PC). You'll be able to do all of this - as well as play every other game now available to Access members - as long as you're spending the $5 a month.
Mass Effect Andromeda certainly didn't set the world on fire during a year where almost everything else is. Membership comes in two varieties: $4.99 for one month and $29.99 for a full year.
