Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Episode 2 out next week

Despite being developed by a completely different studio to the original game we were very impressed by the first episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm - Episode 2 has a release date, along with a rather new video setting the scene for upcoming events.

The new episode looks likely to bridge the gap between Rachel's relationship with Frank, Chloe's expulsion from Blackwell and her general bemusement with life. The latest episode of Before the Storm gives a look at old characters returning from the first Life is unusual game, as well as new characters and game environments.

"As Chloe and Rachel's family life continues to crumble, their friendship blossoms and the two girls discuss running away together", Square Enix said.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a prequel to Dontnod's well-received episodic story-driven, episodic adventure Life is Strange. But how much worse are things going to get when Chloe gets tasked with helping out her old drug dealer buddy Frank Bowers? Honestly, could this game smack us in the face any more with surprises?
