Free Xbox One And 360 Games With Gold declared for October

Like the usual, the October 2017 free games list in Xbox Games with Gold catalogue will include older titles first that were first launched as Xbox 360 exclusives. These are available for download free of charge as long as you're subscribed to Xbox Live with Gold.

In a post on the Xbox official blog site, Microsoft revealed the titles, starting off with "Gone Home: Console Edition".

Gone Home: Console Edition: This first-person exploration Xbox One title will be available all month, saving you the $19.99 it usually retails for. In the game, players come home after a year overseas only to find their house empty. The award-winning game from 2015 puts players in an interactive experience where they go up close and personal with "keepsakes and photographs and other clues to uncover what happened".

Also coming as a free game for the Xbox One is The Turing Test, a first-person puzzler set on Europa, a moon of Jupiter. In The Turning Test, gamer to use its Energy Manipulation Tool (EMT) to assign power in and out of many machines that can help you as the narrative-focused story evolves.

Medal of Honor: Airborne: For the second half of the game (from October 16 through 31), you can play this first-person shooter, where you play as a paratrooper who has missions in various places around the world. It will be up for download beginning October 16 and will be available until November 15.

Rayman 3 HD: the updated version of Rayman 3 with modified visuals and audio will be accessible free of cost from October 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Thanks to Xbox's backwards compatibility project, these Xbox 360 games will be playable in Xbox One consoles as well.

The previous month was highlighted by notable titles "Forza 5" and "Battlefield 3", which were available until the end of the September, reported Gamespot. Supernatural adventure Oxenfree, meanwhile, can be downloaded for free until October 15.
