Now, with the game's single-player mode, multiplayer battles, and finally the Nazi Zombies mode officially revealed, expect to see more extensive gameplay footage to arrive from the studio in the coming months.
Today, Activision released the first official trailer for WWII's Nazi Zombies, and goddamn it looks fantastic. It's like coming home in a sick and gruesome way since the zombies mode first got its start with Nazis in Call of Duty: World at War almost a decade ago. If the players had to be delighted with this leak, which occurs nearly five days before the date set by the creators of the game, there was one who did not appreciate it at all, it was Glen Schofield, Co-founder of Sledgehammer Games. You're still killing waves of undead scum, but this time you're doing it alongside Doctor Who star David Tennant, Elodie Yung who played Elektra in Daredevil, Vikings actor Katheryn Winnick, professional creepy man Udo Kier, and Mission: Impossible co-star Ving Rhames.
The trailer clocks in at just under two minutes, and it features a look at the all new gory, Gothic, dark, terror-filled map that players will run through with up to three other players in the Zombies mode.
Nazi zombies are back and they're looking scarier and bigger than ever.
Sledgehammer Games delivers an original and terrifying new co-op survival experience in Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies. It's a Nazi army of rotted human corpses, obviously.
