Other features included in the Creators Update includes the new videogame livestreaming service Beam, which will enable livestreaming from Xbox One or Windows 10 PCs. Also, this new update also delivers backgrounds to your Home, which will highlight the game users playing, if owners don't have a custom one set.
The update improves the Home screen interface, simplifying the UI and increasing system performance. This also means a change to the Guide button, with an overlay menu for fast access to different console features instead of making the player go back to the home screen. The new feature allows the user to sync two controllers to one player and make the innovative use of controllers.
In a new blog post, Microsoft has announced that all users with licensed Windows 10 software will be able to manually download the Windows 10 Creators Update through its Update Assistant from April 5. This feature will make it more convenient for users to stay updated on new deals, as well as download them without having to search the storefront. Parents will also be happy to hear the Xbox One now supports screen time limits just like Windows 10 offers.
The update also brings Windows Hello, a feature that allows a desktop or laptop to pair with an iPhone, Android smartphone, or a Windows Phone. The biggest additions are the revamped Guide, the new dashboard, and the Beam streaming offering. Xbox One users can start using Beam today, which is also accessible via the Guide. With the achievement tracker, players can select multiple achievements to track at any given time, and these achievements will appear on-screen as they play, allowing achievement hunters to keep a close eye on their progress.
