As if being a music, sports, business and rap mogul wasn't enough, there is word that Jay Z soon to be father of twins, is adding the title of Venture Capitalist to his growing resume. Jay Z is no stranger to the world of startups, and it looks like he is stepping his game up. Sherpa Capital declined to comment.

The company went on to raise an impressive $8.5 million in a Series A financing round last summer. In the past, the iconic artist has participated in investment rounds for startups such as Uber's Series B $300 million United States dollars pre-money round, JetSmarter, Away, BlackJet, Devialet and Julep. Other investors included Lady Gaga along with Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Uber's valuation, of course, has since ballooned to $US66 billion ($86 billion).
