Microsoft is working on a brand new "Game Mode" feature for Windows 10 that will enhance the PC gaming experience by minimizing resources used by running apps to nearly nothing and allocating freed up resources to the game, making it run faster, better and smoother overall. We'll be able to tell you a lot more about the Creators Update, including privacy options, when it launches in April. The solution is as simple as visiting Microsoft's "Download Windows 10" page, grabbing a copy of the Windows 10 OS, and then installing the as an upgrade to an existing valid installation of Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1.
That includes a new Web-based dashboard that lets you see and control your Microsoft activity data and a new "privacy set up experience" in Windows 10, Windows Chief Terry Meyerson announced in a blog post.
Existing Windows 10 users will receive notifications prompting them to choose their privacy settings.
Windows 10 has a reputation for spying on its users.
USA sanctions Russia's top investigator, four others for rights abuses
The new sanctions came less than two weeks before President-elect Donald Trump is set to succeed outgoing President Barack Obama. The act envisages sanctioning Russian officials whom the USA believes to be responsible for human rights violations.
Microsoft appears to have been keeping a close eye on its rivals when it comes to improving and updating Windows 10. Microsoft also added "family options".
Apart from the Microsoft Edge enhancements the new preview also heralds with a few improvisations here and there. Windows 10 Build 15002 is chock full of new features, ranging from support for folders in Start menu tiles to new Cortana keyboard shortcuts and more. A Microsoft spokeswoman called all the data it collects "vitally important to the provision of Windows", but chose to shift some of its data collection to the "Full" tier. Settings app gets new UI. pages now contain additional information on providing links to support, feedback, and related settings if available. It'll give them an opportunity to convert the file to a personal copy.
Other improvements? You'll find a more app-centric sharing option with increased awareness of what you're running and what you like to use. It allows you to see a preview of the tabs you have open.
Settings: improvements to setting navigation; updated device settings; new display options; lower blue light; and improved cross-device experience settings. The latter allows users to save and restore a set of tabs. While it's not ideal, the new system does provide significantly more transparency into what information Microsoft is collecting, and you can now clear out much of that information if you think the company is in possession of too much of your personal data. The other button will show stored tabs.
