Not a typical day for this Walmart employee

On Sunday, a man reportedly shoplifted several items from the store and pepper-sprayed an employee when she tried to stop him, according to police.

Witnesses say the greeter simply asked the man for his receipt.

The Facebook post includes photos of the man and a woman accused of being an accomplice and providing the pepper spray before they entered the store. The male suspect turned around and sprayed the worker in the face and fled. We understand she is doing OK and has since returned to work.

After releasing surveillance images of the suspects, police identified them as Michael Jude, 35, and Sandra Yeahquo 36, both of Oklahoma.

A Walmart spokesperson says the greeter is okay after the run in. “We’re grateful no one was seriously hurt by this weekend’s incident, and we’ll help police with their investigation in any way we can”.
