India’s Ravindra Jadeja on Tuesday edged out Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan to claim the top-rank among all-rounders apart from maintaining pole position in the bowlers’ chart in the latest ICC rankings.
And now Jadeja posted a special message, where he thanked the two vital cogs of Indian cricket team for helping him achieve this feat. At the start of the four-match series, the all-rounder was ranked No. 27 among the batsmen and 30th in relation to bowlers’ rankings.
Meanwhile, Jadeja took Twitter to thank MSDhoni and Virat Kohli, as well as the Indian cricket board and his family.

Jadeja came in the scene during the captaincy of Dhoni and was his teammate at Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League as well. He also shares a good bond with Virat Kohli under whom Jadeja has been playing since his under-19 days.
It is very hard to say if Ravindra Jadeja’s career is going high, this Indian all-rounder keeps swinging in between the best and the worst, however, talking about the best, he now proved himself as the World’s best all-rounder in test format. This propelled him to 438 rating points in the all-rounder rankings – 7 ratings points more than Shakib.
In the recently-concluded second Test, which India won by an innings and 53 runs, Jadeja contributed an unbeaten 70 and also took seven wickets, including a five-for. Although, Jadeja’s celebrations were cut short after being charged with breach of ICC Code of Conduct which resulted in the accumulation of demerit points.
