Camden police have arrested a Manhattan socialite for a string of allegedly stealing from three Camden businesses.
Martins – the daughter of Darci Kistler, a former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, and Peter, a famed Danish choreographer – has landed in trouble before.
The two allegedly broke windows and doors at the Smoothie Shack on Elm Street, Francine Bistro on Chestnut Street and Camden Cone on Bay View Street, police said.
Martins was arrested Thursday night and charged with one count of burglary and felony theft.
The socialite daughter of a New York City ballet power couple traded in her evening gowns for a cat-burglar outfit to allegedly rob a string of shops in ME – and now she could be headed for prison stripes, it was revealed Monday.
Talicia Martins and 20-year-old Jacob Flanagan were arrested last week after authorities received an anonymous tip, sparked by surveillance video of the pair, according to a Camden Police Department press release.
Martins is charged with one count of burglary and felony theft.
Both are now out on $1,500 bail and awaiting their next court date. She was released on $1,500 cash bail, while Flanagan remained in a Rockland jail as of August 4. Phone numbers for the pair couldn’t be located, and the phone rang unanswered at the home of Martins’ parents.
Drugs and alcohol played a role in the crime spree, according to Camden police, which didn’t elaborate.
