Jeremy Renner Talks Hawkeye’s Exploration in Avengers 3 & 4

Jeremy Renner might be playing one of the lesser-known Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War, but he explains that he’ll still be getting a fair amount of screentime in the movie and Avengers 4.

The 46-year-old actor plays Hawkeye, or Clint Barton, in the Marvel Studios film series but said when he was on set, he was very focused on his own scenes and the directors were responsible for pulling it all together at the end, reported Collider. “I’ve done so many unbelievable, cool-ass things in my life – but I think as we get older, there’s more value in doing something with somebody”, he added.

“Yeah… I mean, I think they’ve got a lot going on in the Marvel world and I’m just happy to be a part of it”.

With Avengers: Infinity War slated to be released on May 2, 2018 and Avengers 4 starting production, Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner has been opening up a bit about how each film allows him to explore a bit more of his character. Renner himself has expressed an openness to a television drama, saying a year ago, “I don’t know the practicality of that, but any of these characters I play, I’d love to dig into them more”.

“You don’t even get to see a whole script or anything. You want to share the experience”, Renner said.

The fourth Avengers installment is filming now and will hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
