“Counting On” star Derick Dillard is in hot water after a controversial tweet about one of his TLC co-stars.
Jennings has yet to address Dillard’s remarks publicly, though she has retweeted some followers’ messages of support.
Fans of the show and proponents of the LGBT community were quick to voice their dissapointment with the reality star’s comment. “Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God”, Derick wrote. I only have an issue with the words and definitely being propagated here, ‘ he posted.
Some users also found Dillard’s tweet “hypocritical” as his wife’s family’s reality show is also airing on TLC. In fact, their show, “Counting On“, is scheduled to premiere next month.
But then Derick had to go and show his true colors and bash not only a teenager, but the very network that hosts his own show. The LGBTQ community in particular has been the source of numerous family’s most toxic rants, but this may be the first time someone in the Duggar camp has openly singled out a teenager.

Dillard unleashed a social media rant on the 16-year-old, saying. As a matter of fact, Michelle Duggar even campaigned against them and their rights in 2014.
TLC issued the following statement to PEOPLE regarding Dillard’s tweets: “Derick Dillard’s personal statement does not represent the views of TLC“.
At the time this article was published, neither Jennings nor TLC have responded to Dillard’s tweet. But who is Jazz Jennings?
The teen was diagnosed with gender identity disorder at the age of only four years old.
