The world championships finish on Sunday, August 13th and West Ham confirmed after the Premier League fixtures for 2017-18 had been released that their first home game will be against Huddersfield Town on September 9th.
Newly promoted Newcastle host Tottenham, while Brighton welcome Manchester City and Huddersfield visit Crystal Palace.

Following Tottenham vs Chelsea, the next big heavyweight contest of the campaign comes before the first worldwide break on 26 August when Liverpool take on Arsenal. It’ll be the first time West Ham have played at home on the final day since they played Reading in 2013.
August concludes with a clash between Liverpool and Arsenal prior to the worldwide break for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. This means Chelsea may also miss him in Tottenham’s first game at Wembley.
