Giant cactus pierces vehicle windshield on Arizona highway, driver miraculously unhurt

According to information from the Northwest Fire District, nobody was hurt, even though the vehicle came to rest with a large saguaro sticking out of the windshield, just missing the driver.

Pima County sheriff's Deputy Daniel Jelineo said the black sports vehicle struck the cactus while crossing a median before ending up on the other side of a road and that the cactus ended up slamming into the car's windshield.

A auto crash in Tucson Wednesday ended with a cactus through a man's windshield and the driver charged with DUI.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said that when they arrived the man appeared disoriented and suffered minor injuries.
