Cameron Boyce's father shares final photo taken before his son's death

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office said Monday, July 8, that an autopsy had been performed on Boyce, but an official cause of death has yet to be announced.

As of Thursday, "preliminary information suggests the death occurred under natural circumstances", but "the final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date", according to the coroner.

The young actor suffered from epilepsy and died as a result of a seizure which was related to his condition.

Cameron Boyce's younger sister and only sibling Maya Boyce is breaking her silence about the death of the Disney Channel star, recalling how they had a "normal and fun" time together hours before he passed away.

The actor's "Descendants" co-star Dove Cameron also posted a tearful six-part video on Instagram, referring to Boyce as an "earth angel". Victor, who is also a father to Cameron's older sister, Maya, continued: "The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so lovely and appreciated. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy", the 20-year-old's father, Victor Boyce, began. "Thank you, everyone, for encircling us with your love and respect of Cameron and concern for our family", Libby and Victor said.

"With permission from the Boyce family, Disney Channel will dedicate the telecast of Descendants 3 in Cameron Boyce's memory".

Boyce starred on the Disney Channel's "Descendants" and "Jessie".

Boyce was set to appear in the comedy series "Mrs. Fletcher", which is set to hit HBO this fall.
