Not merely a rehash of past games, this will be an all-new experience that spans all nine Star Wars movies including the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. But there's something to be said about the charm of the Lego Star Wars games that is just a lot more appealing than another story of another surviving Jedi in the Rise of the Empire (even if said Jedi just so happens to be the Joker from Gotham). Revealed during Xbox's E3 2019 press conference, this all new Lego Star Wars game covers all nine main Star Wars films, from A New Hope all the way through to The Last Jedi. Some of the franchise's most iconic vehicles will also be at the player's disposal, including Millennium Falcon, Resistance X-Wings, and much more. It's called Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and is once again being handled by TT Games.
Friends and family can dive right into their favourite saga film and play through memorable Star Wars™ moments, reimagined with LEGO® fun and humour.
Don't get me wrong, Respawn's action-packed new Star Wars game looks fine.
If all goes as planned, LEGO Star Wars fans will have a bevy of content on their plates. "The game will give fans an all-new LEGO Star Wars experience with complete freedom to explore the LEGO Star Wars galaxy", said Tom Stone, managing director of TT Games.
LEGO® Star Wars™ video games are enjoyed by multiple generations of gamers around the world with more than 50 million copies sold. Ren is seen making a snowman version of Darth Vader and Rey is stunned to see this, which angers Kylo, hence their fight.
No official release date has been announced, but you can look for it to come out in 2020 on Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
