The Redmi K20 Pro will be joined by the Redmi K20, which will be inferior to the K20 Pro. We've seen the Redmi Note 7 and the Xiaomi Redmi 7. Interestingly, one of these variants could be rebranded as the Poco F2 in India. So, we can also add to the fact that the phone will not use punch-hole cameras but rather go the Vivo route with a camera that slides out of the phone.
There will be a large 6.39-inch FHD+ display that will feature Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top and what's more, is that it will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, putting it head-to-head with the likes of OPPO and Vivo.
While the K20 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, the Redmi K20 could be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC. One thing that is rumored is that one of the two phones would launch globally as the Poco F2, i.e., the successor to last year's super affordable flagship, the Poco F1. According to leaks, there are triple rear cameras, at least a 4,000mAh battery, a 32MP pop-up selfie camera & Snapdragon 855 processor. On the front side, the pop-up camera module will feature a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
For now, there is no word regarding when these Redmi flagships will be launched but it has been announced that the name will be revealed today.
The latest Redmi Pro 2 is stated to have the structure like that of Redmi Note 7 yet does not possess the notch of a waterdrop.
The phone is expected to come in three colours options including - Black, Glacier Blue and Flame Red.
The Redmi GM has confirmed that the Redmi flagship will include the 3.5mm headphone jack.
