However, the Deadline report claims that the network and the trio of judges are both, 'said to be far apart, ' so it's possible there could be a new lineup of judges.
The series is doing well ratings-wise. In the live + same day ratings, "Idol" has been averaging a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 this year, down from its previous season's 1.6 average. The Monday episodes are notching a 1.5 rating and 8.3 million viewers. Alejandro Aranda, Madison VanDenburg and Laine Hardy are the three remaining contestants who will compete for the crown in 2019.
