The 29-year-old Spanish worldwide - who has been linked to a move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain - believes the common decency of Solskjaer will be rewarded with better performances on the pitch.
"I am sure they will give it but the only thing I ask for them is time because this is not easy".
"Solskjaer has had a chance to work with these players now for a decent period of time and he'll know the ones that he needs to keep and build a team around. That's what this club needs at the moment".
Solskjaer is coming under pressure after a disappointing end to the season which saw United win just two of their final 12 games.
"I think Ole is the right person because he has qualities and knowledge but also he is a great man and a great person".
"I've learned that I don't like losing", the former United striker said.
"(But) the right person is at the wheel.
"I don't think they'll fall into that trap because they've been stung before and I don't think they'll fall into that trap again". In a bad moment for the club we have won some trophies.
Spanish worldwide midfielder Herrera will play no further part in Solskjaer's attempts to resurrect the club, having opted to leave for a lucrative move to Paris Saint-Germain.
"That was one of my dreams but it is what it is".
Many Manchester United fans have plenty of belief in Tuanzebe and frankly are a little disappointed he wasn't more involved given the failings of the defence this season.
"I have enjoyed a lot playing for this club". I have always tried to represent this club always by giving my best. When you have a bad season, 75 percent is the responsibility of the players.
