Actor Tom Holland is in negotiations to star in the Russo brothers' next directorial Cherry. Next month's Avengers: Endgame concludes the duo's extensive collaborating with Marvel and the Mouse House, so it was only a matter of time until the Russo brothers started looking at the path which lay before them.
AGBO acquired the rights to Nico Walker's book, "Cherry", in August, with plans to shoot over the summer.
Published past year, Cherry is an autobiographical novel which follows an American soldier who returns home from the War in Iraq with PTSD, becomes addicted to opiates, and begins robbing banks. The sibling filmmakers have begun assembling (yes, we definitely meant that as an Avengers pun) the cast for their forthcoming film Cherry, tapping Spider-Man star Holland for the lead role.
One of the most anticipated films of the year, 'Avengers: Endgame'has been directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
Walker was convicted in 2011 and is scheduled to be released in 2020. And, amidst all this excitement, the makers on Tuesday announced Joe Russo's (one-half of the Russo brothers) visit to India.
Joe is expected to be in Mumbai on April 1 and 2 to promote the upcoming film amongst Indian fans, who will be among the first in the world to interact with the director before the film hits the big screens. And now, Indian fans and others across the world can not wait to witness the grand conclusion in Avengers: Endgame which will release on 26th April.
The film will conclude this phase of the MCU, and is rumoured to be the last time Downey Jr and Evans will play Iron Man and Captain America respectively.
