Ruth Bader Ginsburg shows 'no evidence of remaining disease,' Supreme Court says

Ginsburg's recovery is "on track", according to the Supreme Court. Ginsburg was discharged from a NY hospital on Christmas day after having two cancerous growths removed from her left lung. People are concerned about her health, and rightly so, but as noted by Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Ginsburg is working from home, and will participate in all opinions via the parties' previously submitted briefs and the argument transcripts that will be provided to her.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, "RBG", will not return to the Supreme Court next week after missing oral arguments over the past three days.

A source familiar with the conversations confirms to CNN that the White House legal counsel has been in communication with outside allies and conservative groups about next steps if something should happen to Ginsburg.

"Two nodules in the lower lobe of her left lung were discovered incidentally during tests performed at George Washington University Hospital to diagnose and treat rib fractures sustained in a fall on November 7", the statement said. "Post-surgery evaluation indicates no evidence of remaining disease, and no further treatment is required". Ginsburg is a left-wing jurist who has notoriously ruled for abortion and against employers' conscience rights, as well as for same-sex "marriage" despite calls to recuse herself on the issue because she's personally officiated several such "weddings".

"They're doing it very quietly, of course, because the idea is not to be opportunistic, but just to be prepared so we aren't caught flat-footed", said one insider.

With Gorsuch, protestations over the denial of Obama nominee Merrick Garland forced Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to implement the nuclear option-a simple 50-vote majority rather than a 60-vote, filibuster-proof super-majority. If Ginsburg steps down as one of the four liberal justices now serving, President Trump will nearly certainly appoint a conservative replacement, tilting the court further to the Right. Many of them are women, sources say.

Ginsburg has said before that she has no plans of retiring anytime soon.
