Netflix ‘The Punisher’ Season 2 Trailer Introduces Amy Bendix

If Frank Castle's first appearance in Season 2 of Daredevil and Season 1 of Marvel's The Punisher taught us anything it is that no one leaves a trail of carnage behind like the ruthless vigilante played by Jon Bernthal. Unfortunately, this Frank the target of her pursuers as well. She responds, "It was nearly like you were happy for the excuse".

The two-and-a-half-minute clip sees Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle coming to the aid of a young woman whose friends and family have been murdered, much like his own.

In addition to the dark imagery that The Punisher team has used since promotion for the first season began in 2017, each of these posters hints at where the characters are in their season two stories. When Jigsaw's accomplices find out that Castle and Bendix have partnered together, they set out to kill them both. Showing Castle both dishing out and taking some beatings, this second season looks to be as nasty as the last as the character enters a bigger world of crime, now overseen by the returning Billy Russo (Ben Barnes). What follows is a war on the streets of New York City as Russo's army try to take down The Punisher.

The trailer features pretty-boy Billy "The Beaut" Russo and we guess that is The Rev in there as well? The Punisher season 2-which also stars Amber Rose Revah, Jason R. Moore, Floriana Lima, and Giorgia Whigham-hits Netflix on January 18. Don't let that influence your decision to stream the upcoming season though. "How do you think that feels?"
