Google also talked at length about how Assistant is increasingly helpful on the go. The Assistant will provide real-time spoken translations, and written ones as well on smart displays.
Google is a leader in real-time translation functionality, though the field is still working on the basics. Currently, this feature supports 27 languages, including English, Hindi, Polish, Indonesian, Swedish, Thai, German and Korean. Guided by a quirky narrator, the ride takes you through a day in the life of "Bob" as he uses the Google Assistant along the way.
New voice commands make it possible to search for notable spots alongside the designated travel route, play music and share an estimated time of arrival with contacts. What's more, the Assistant will even auto-punctuate your messages now, so you don't have to dictate punctuation marks as well.
The Google Assistant Connect platform was just one of a slew of Google Assistant announcements at CES, which is also showcasing artificial intelligence in a number of other fields, including navigation and safety features for cars and improving TV video quality.
The service would be rolled out over the next few weeks on Google Home devices and Smart Displays.

With the Google Assistant built-in on Hopper, customers will be able to use the DISH voice remote to ask the Assistant questions and see answers on the screen like the weather forecast or games scores.
