Pete Davidson Made Last Minute Call to Mention Ariana Grande on 'SNL'

Miller is referenced in the song, along with Grande's other high-profile exes.

Ariana Grande has struggled with an anxiety disorder for years now, but her mental illness got even worse following the tragic Manchester terrorist attack that happened in May 2017.

The song's lyrics, "One taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain", have everyone questioning which ex goes with which line.

It was posted in good fun, something Ariana herself got a good laugh out of when she saw it later in the day. Though his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande has not directly addressed this news, TMZ's release did coincide with a tweet from Grande about her relationship with therapy. Throughout the weekend, the singer shared fans videos and posts about the song to her Instagram Story.

"Thank U, Next" is more than a breakup anthem, and listeners can't get enough of the song's message of positivity and empowerment. Breathin visual this week too!

Though we don't know how Big Sean feels about the track, Davidson had only great things to say about his ex when he appeared on "Saturday Night Live" shortly after its release.

Pete Davidson made a late change right before "SNL" to mention Ariana Grande's name during this weekend's episode. "And that's okay. She's a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world". Yesterday on a new TODAY show, Kenan Thompson would be asked about the controversial joke told by Davidson about Crenshaw. "Anyone would be hurt after an engagement was broken off. Pete joked about him and Ariana [when they were together]".
