What's more, it seems as if the device will go up for preorder in a few hours. While other phones like the Galaxy Note 9 and iPhone X climb past the $1,000 mark, the OnePlus 6T stays below $600, even for the upgraded model, and boasts a Snapdragon 845 chipset and up to 8GB of RAM.
Who's the OnePlus 6T for? There's no word on worldwide availability, but it will cost 3,999 Yuan (£399) and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 3.5mm headphone jack is not included in the package, while the device features an in-display fingerprint scanner instead of a rear-facing capacitive fingerprint scanner. Bluetooth 5.0 is packed into the OnePlus 6T as well, while the device weighs 185 grams. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session affirmed that despite the lack of any IP ratings, the OnePlus 6T would survive an accidental drop in a puddle and resist some splashes of water in an everyday scenario, though it isn't made for diving. It is a bit narrower, a bit thicker, and a bit taller than the OnePlus 6, in case you're wondering.
