Google’s First Multiplayer Game Is A Highly Addictive Halloween Doodle

It's called The Great Ghoul Duel and it's a 4-on-4 online multiplayer game, that combines capture the flag and Pac-Man and snake to make an addictive new experience.

Google is getting in the Halloween spirit with a first-of-its-kind Google Doodle that's both interactive and competitive.

You have to return these souls to the team base that is denoted by a large pool of the same color as your team.

In order to get the spirits you collect to contribute to your team's total, they have to be deposited back at your base.

Two years ago, Google captivated Doodle players with a game featuring an adorable black cat with magic powers that races the clock to save its school from a horde of invading spirits. The ghost with the most flames at the end of the game wins.

Delivering spirit flames awards players with bonuses such as enhanced speed and night vision.

Additionally, you can play with random people or host a game.

The spirit flames are located around several Halloween-themed maps that players navigate through using either a mouse or arrow keys. You can play on a desktop or mobile device by heading to Google.com and clicking or tapping the colorful icon near the top of the page. I scored 90 which is the lowest on my green team, but hey, it's not that bad for the first time, and we won! Collected flames follow along behind you in a glowing trail, and if you pass through a member of the opposing team's trail you'll steal flames from behind the point you touched. So what are you waiting for?
