Paying tribute, the National Fallen Firefighters Association described Kendall as "a selfless man of God who loved spending time with family and friends".

Then, at the gravestone of her late fiancé.

They added: "He had a true servant's heart and captivating personality that would light up any room". He didn't know a stranger.

"What a emotional, incredible weekend this was!" She thought it would be a good way to honor Kendall and help Jessica with the healing process.

"This wasn't what we wanted in the end, but at least we know we will never be alone, we have all become one big supporting family".
