The Staggering Amount It Would Cost Man Utd To Sack Jose Mourinho

Manchester United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward reportedly has no plans to part ways with either manager Jose Mourinho or midfielder Paul Pogba.

Mourinho's latest clash with Pogba has left some players bemused by his actions, especially after he stripped the Frenchman of the club's vice-captaincy.

All is certainly not well at Old Trafford...

Pogba has been widely criticised for his failure to produce consistent displays for the Red Devils, but he was in fine form as he helped France to win the World Cup in Russian Federation over the summer.

While his younger brother is linked with a move away from Manchester United amid reports of a training-ground spat with Jose Mourinho, the 28-year-old striker has secured a deal at Tours after a gap in his career.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici was asked about the speculation linking Pogba with Juventus and said on Thursday: 'He is a Manchester United player.

It is well documented that Mourinho is not a big fan of Pogba's off-field antics and also his attitude on the field has also angered the Portuguese Manager.

The Guinea global last played professionally for Sparta Rotterdam, his appearance in a 1-0 defeat to ADO Den Haag on April 23, 2017 being his final game for the club.

He pointed out that the ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid manager should be "building bridges" with his players rather than burning it down, reiterating that Mourinho is approaching the situation the wrong way.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports on Tuesday night, Redknapp said: "There's been an almighty fall out".

He said: "Whether it's Jose's fault or Pogba's fault, I don't care".

'There's an idea that it's one or the other, so if Mourinho goes we'll see a new Pogba.

"That looked like the manager was handing responsibility to the players". Get rid of him now.' Because there's no chance he'd allow his team to become a joke because of Paul Pogba's behaviour.
