A chilly start to Wednesday is expected with partly cloudy skies and lows in the 40s and 50s. You'll notice an uptick in dew points tonight when temperatures are in the mild upper 60s with a spotty shower around.
Ahead of that front, temperatures climb back into the low-80s.
Sunday will bring scattered showers again as the front stalls out over our area. And any chance for a few showers will mostly be in central and northern Kansas for the afternoon. Slight chances for rain will stay in the forecast through the end of the week and into the weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid/upper 70s for highs.
SATURDAY | Partly cloudy and cool. An approaching cold front steer warmer and more humid air into the mid-Atlantic for the afternoon as winds blow from the southwest.
"Temperatures will be warmer than we saw on Monday, but still fairly cool given the cloud cover", forecasters said.
As bad as that may sound, forecasters said Wednesday shouldn't be a complete washout, as we could see "many hours of dry weather and possibly a few breaks of sunshine", forecasters said.
