Marvel’s Spider-Man Launch Trailer Shows Off All-New Gameplay Footage

From more insight into gameplay to the team at Insomniac discussing pressures surrounding characters, all of us have been following the game very closely.

When a new villain threatens New York City, Peter Parker and Spider-Man's worlds collide. Like other trailers, this one also features Miles Morales. Given previous footage has shown off some aggressive looking, potentially radioactive Spiders before too, could it be the case that Insomniac will depict Miles' transformation into a Spider-Man of his own, potentially with Peter bowing out of the spotlight temporarily? Do you have any reservations about the game or are you all in with this new adventure? Spidey then thwips away to fight more crime.

Set after the events of May's Avengers 4, the upcoming film is expected to bring Spider-Man back to down to Earth (and, presumably, back to life) as Peter Parker travels the world during his summer vacation from high school. In Marvel Comics, the organization devoted to "Food, Emergency Aid, Shelter and Training" is actually a front for Mister Negative and his Inner Demons gang, something the game will also adapt.

Marvel's Spider-Man is out September 7, exclusively on the PS4. Could that mean the game will build towards a huge revelation that involves multiple people with superpowers? Nearly a whole month before release is pretty rare, but this seems to be the case with Insomniac Games and Sony's Marvel's Spider-Man.
