Omarosa Manigault-Newman on Sunday released a tape of a conversation she surreptitiously recorded in the Situation Room between herself and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly as he informed her she would be leaving the administration.
She repeated what she asserts in the book: that Trump is a "racist, misogynist and bigot", a realization that she said dawned on her only as her rocky White House tenure came to an end.
According to excerpts of her forthcoming memoir released to The Guardian, Manigault Newman said Mr. Trump used the "N-word" repeatedly during the taping of his NBC show "The Apprentice" prior to his presidency, and she claims that there is a recording of his use of the slur.

"I was complicit with this White House deceiving this nation", she said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press". "I heard his voice as clear as you and I are sitting here", she said.
At one point, he was asked about former White House adviser and reality star Newman. She proved to be so polarizing (popular? hated?) that Trump had her back for two additional seasons of "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2008 and "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" in 2013. "So yes I recorded myself and I have no regret about it".

"When Trump was elected, a lot of those people that were harboring a lot of racist sentiments felt like, because they had a president's backing, they could just go out and say this stuff", Pritsker said.
Conway then launched into a scathing condemnation of supporters of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, accusing them of being "so afraid that they needed to prop her up, that she was such a non-compelling, non-persuasive, pathetic candidate that they had to dig up dirt on Donald Trump early on".
Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel suggested that Manigault Newman should be prosecuted if she's found to have broken any federal laws for recording a conversation in the Situation Room.
However, Karl doubled down on his question, again asking about Sessions' future in the White House. On the Saturday anniversary of the riot, Trump tweeted, "I condemn all types of racism and acts of violence", which some have interpreted as more waffling, as reported by USA Today. Trump called Manigault Newman a "lowlife" Saturday.
Manigault Newman went on to become Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.
