Carrie Underwood announces pregnancy, tour dates

The 35-year-old singer announced on Twitter today that she is pregnant.

Congrats are in order for Carrie Underwood!

Carrie Underwood took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting their second child together. Center on October 17, 2019 as part of her Cry Pretty Tour 360.

"You might be wondering or asking, 'Carrie why is your tour starting in May?' Well. yay!"

The new baby will join older brother Isaiah (3), making the Fisher's a family of four. Shortly after that, she released her comeback single, "Cry Pretty", and has been back in the spotlight. "We're just so excited, and just so glad that you guys can share in this with us".

She also opened up about having "a few more downs than ups last year" after a scary fall left her with a broken wrist and 50 stitches in her face.

Some fans were upset about her comments, and felt they were insensitive to those with struggling with fertility. "When you go into write you're drawing off of personal experiences and you're talking about people that you know or friends that are dealing with things".

Underwood's announcement follows her controversial comments about fertility in Redbook's September issue, published just one day earlier.

'We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older'.
