Accompanying an incredible story trailer, Sony has revealed a new Spider-Man-themed PlayStation 4 Pro bundle. Keep in mind, you won't receive the console until September 7, 2018 - its official launch date. That's why series mercenary Silver Sable is now in NY, and she's hunting a read and blue spider. The Land Down Under will also be getting a second Spider-Man console that includes a regular 1TB PlayStation 4 with the same customized artwork and game bundle - that'll cost AU$549.95.
Insomniac Games debuted a new trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man during their presentation at the Marvel Games panel. There's no direct gameplay to speak of, with the trailer instead focusing on core characters such as Norman Osborn, Mary-Jane Watson, Miles Morales and Peter himself.
Spider-Man PS4 looks great in new SDCC 2018 trailer, and you can play it on a Spidey-themed PS4 Pro
Sony says that pre-orders will open today for the Spider-Man PlayStation 4 Pro bundle, but no one has it available at time of writing. The montage includes the previously unrevealed Velocity Suit, which is accompanied by the Iron Spider Suit (featured in Avengers: Infinity War) and the Spider Punk Suit. But really, the main draw here is owning a PS4 Pro console with the Spider-Man symbol boldly emblazoned on the top, plus an equally vivid red-and-white DualShock 4 to go with it. On PS4 Pro, users can expect the game to run in 2160p dynamic 4K resolution. You can pre-order the bundle for $399.99 right now.
That said, Marvel Powers United VR does seem quite interesting, with X-Men Wolverine, Storm, and Iceman being added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe-orientated line-up of Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel.
