After the tumultuous events of Season 5 that saw a riot engulf Litchfield, the stalwart inmates have now been moved to the maximum security part of the prison.
Fans of the hit TV show Orange Is the New Black have waited over a year for a new episode. Of course we're going to watch it, but this is the first time an upcoming season of the show feels more like an assignment rather than something we're looking forward to.
Orange Is The New Black will stream on Netflix on July 27th. It's a fair expectation for that to be resolved in season six.
I don't think we're in Litchfield anymore. As we've seen in previous seasons, that means there's sure to be a new cast of characters to cause problems.
A majority of the women including Piper, Red, Suzanne, Maria, and Nicky were all taken to a max prison and are facing charges from the riot.

With Piper (Taylor Schilling) and some of the others still holed up in a bunker, the vast majority of the prisoners have been transferred to the massive local supermax facility in the wake of the violence at the penitentiary.
Following the fatal prison riot at the end of season five, the women of Litchfield have been transferred to maximum security, while investigators try to figure out who was to blame. Now newbies, they must navigate new rules and power dynamics, starting at the bottom, and getting hazed by inmates and tortured by guards. Will they turn on each other or keep their bonds intact?
